The FA
What do we do?
The Football Association (The FA) is the governing body of football in England, responsible for leading and developing the game at every level, from grassroots participation through to the England national teams. As one of the world’s oldest and most influential sporting organisations, The FA plays a vital role in shaping the future of football, creating opportunities for millions of people to play, coach, referee, volunteer and support the game across the country.
Football has the power to bring people together, improve wellbeing and create lasting social impact. Through our work with communities, schools, clubs, leagues and partner organisations, The FA is committed to ensuring that football remains accessible, inclusive and welcoming to everyone. From investing in facilities and supporting grassroots clubs to expanding opportunities for women and girls and tackling discrimination, The FA uses the reach of football to help strengthen communities and inspire positive change.
Guided by our 2024-2028 strategy, Inspiring Positive Change Through Football, The FA is focused on creating a game that reflects the diversity of modern England. By championing inclusion, increasing participation, developing talent pathways and building an environment where everyone feels they belong, The FA is working to ensure football continues to be a force for good, both on and off the pitch.

Our Locations
Whether you’re based at Wembley Stadium or St. George’s Park, you’ll work from one of the most iconic environments in world football. Wembley Stadium, the home of English football, hosts the England teams, major domestic cup finals and some of the world’s biggest concerts and live entertainment events throughout the year. St. George’s Park, The FA’s world-class national football centre, is the training base for all England teams and a hub for coach development, performance innovation and football excellence. Whichever location you’re based in, you’ll be part of an organisation operating at the very heart of the game, surrounded by people who are passionate about inspiring positive change through football.
Our Values
Our purpose and strategy connect us to what we do – but our values are who we are, how we approach our work and why we work hard not only for the game, but for each other.
